Here we go! Time to kick off the second half of the season – maybe our Sox can pull out a win to get it going.
We get our first-look at the new-ish look White Sox tonight: Nick Senzel and Brooks Baldwin are slated to be in the starting lineup – manning 3B and SS, respectively.
Brooks Baldwin makes his major league debut after breezing through the minors with a .324 average, 17 steals, and career-high wRC+’s of 144 in Double-A and 179 at Triple-A.
Nick Senzel, who signed with the Sox after being released by the Nationals last week, will be taking over SS duties for Lenyn Sosa, who was demoted to Triple-A Charlotte. Senzel appeared in 64 games for Washington this year, hitting .209 with 7 home runs and 18 RBIs.
