The White Sox have now lost 13 games in row after bowing to the Seattle Mariners in unremarkable fashion Saturday night. The Sox have now lost 80 of 107 games, making them the first team to accomplish this feat since the 1932 Red Sox.
Despite the looming trade deadline, Erick Fedde took the mound one last(?) time for the Sox, pitching just four innings, and throwing just 79 pitches.
The White Sox struck first, scoring a run on an Andrew Vaughn single after Luis Robert Jr. reached on a throwing error.
Seattle came right back in the top of the 4th, tying the game at one apeice on Jorge Polanco’s 8th homerun of the season – a monster 426-foot shot to center:

After sandwiching 2 walks in between 2 strikeouts, the Mariners had men on first and second with 2 outs. Dylan Moore and Victor Robles both singled to make it a 3-1 ballgame:

Erick Fedde was lifted and replaced with Justin Anderson in the top of the fifth. Anderson promptly issued back-to-back jacks to Cal Raleigh and Jorge Polanco (his second of the night).
The @Mariners have recorded back-to-back home runs in consecutive games for the first time since Sept. 17-18, 2019 at Pittsburgh.

It marks the first time in franchise history that they have done it involving back-to-back-to-back HR.
The Sox scored a couple more runs due to Seattle kicking the ball around the infield.
Can the White Sox win tomorrow and avoid tying the all-time team high losing streak of 14? Tune in to find out!
Womp-womp.
