The White Sox look to extend their franchise-best losing streak this afternoon against the Kansas City Royals at Guaranteed Rate Field on what looks to be a nice, but overcast day at the ol’ ballpark.
Drew Thorpe will be taking the mound, trying to put his last, disasterous outing behind him. On Friday, Thorpe gave up 8 runs on 6 hits (3 HR) with 2 walks and a K in just 0.2 innings of work against the Seattle Mariners.
Brady Singer will be on the bump for they Royals. Last time out against the Sox, Singer pitched 7 innings of zero-run ball. The Roayls went on to win that game 6-1.
