The Southsiders go for the AL record of 22 losses in a row tonight against the Oakland A’s. Now in a tie for the sixth-worst losing streak in MLB history, the Sox have their best chance this series to stop the streak. Ross Stripling is on the mound for Oakland tonight, and he’s been very hittable, with a 5.64 ERA and 1.52 WHIP in 13 games this season. He had a nice outing against the Giants last time out, though, going 5.2 innings and giving up just 1 run on 4 hits with a walk.
