The new-look, Grady Sizemore-led White Sox are back home tonight, taking on their Northside rivals.
The Sox will have Garrett Crochet on the mound tonight for what is expected to be another abbreviated outing as he ramps down for the season. Last time out, he went 4 innings of 1-hit, 1-run ball, in a great outing in Minnesota. This will be the first time Crochet faces the Cubs this year.
Jameson Taillon will be starting for the Cubs. His last outing was good, giving up just 1 run in 6 innings with 4 K’s. His last time out against the Sox, however, is a different story. Back in June, Taillon gave up 5 runs on 10 hits in just 5.0 innings. And, the White Sox won that game, so it was weird.
