Erick Fedde takes the mound for the White Sox tonight in the opener against the Texas Rangers in Arlington. Fedde has been one of the few bright spots on the Sox roster this year, sporting a 7-3 record, with a 2.99 ERA and a 1.13 WHIP.
This may be the last time we see Fedde in a White Sox uniform, as he’s been garnering some pre-deadline trade interest and has been most recently linked to the St. Louis Cardinals. (Sports Mockery article available here.)
The Texas Rangers (47-52) currently sit in third place in the AL West, 5 games back of the Houston Astros and Seattle Mariners. They’ll be throwing Michael Lorenzen on the mound.
