Tigers 13, White Sox 4: Loss Ninety-Nine

The Tigers took the second game in a row in this 4-game series behind a surprisingly shaky effort by Cy Young candidate Tarik Skubal. On the other side of the diamond, Ky Bush’s control issues finally came back to bite him.
Detroit got the party started early on a lead-off double by Matt Vierling. He scored when Andy Ibáñez singled to left, making it 1-0, Tigers.
One pitch later, Riley Greene popped into a double play, as Ibáñez was ruled to have passed second and not re-touched on his return to first after the catch.
By the 3rd inning, it was 5-0 and the game was over, but we got a couple of nice Sox highlights from Julks and Robert Jr.
I’d post those here, but even the White Sox social media team couldn’t be bothered, so…
